Industry Training
The Industry HR Unit within the Malta Tourism Authority is dedicated to enhancing the human resources capacity of Malta’s tourism sector, ensuring that the industry is supported by a skilled and motivated workforce. The unit collaborates closely with key stakeholders to launch joint awareness campaigns and outreach programs aimed at attracting potential employees to consider careers in tourism. By improving the sector's appeal through continuous staff training opportunities, the unit helps to position tourism as an attractive and rewarding career choice.
The Malta Tourism Authority undertakes training programmes aimed at contributing in the development of the Human Element in the tourism industry by instilling enthusiasm, leadership and innovation required for a sustainable and motivated industry.

Encouraging Tourism Careers
The MTA is active in visiting schools, attending freshers and career fairs to promote various tourism related career paths which are essential for an effective tourism industry and attractive to new potential employees undertaking their academic formation locally.
