Team Blue Lagoon is a collaborative task force established in 2025 to protect the ecological integrity and visitor experience of the Blue Lagoon on Comino, one of Malta’s most iconic natural sites and a designated Natura 2000 area. The primary aim is to reshape Comino’s Blue Lagoon future as a sustainable tourism model.

The lagoon, located on the tiny island of Comino, is part of a Natura 2000 protected area, meaning it holds significant environmental value under EU conservation laws.
