The Malta Tourism Authority, is proud to announce the successful staging of a prestigious cultural event that took place yesterday, bringing together two outstanding artists of international repute: Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja and acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Marco Mengoni.
The concert was held at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre in Ta’ Qali and forms part of Malta’s ongoing strategy to position itself as a destination of quality tourism through high-calibre cultural experiences.
Maltese Supporting Acts also took Centre-Stage
Supporting acts Destiny Chukunyere and Clara Calleja also took the stage, accompanied by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of renowned conductor Maestro Aurelio Belli, together with the BOV Joseph Calleja Children’s Choir. Audiences were treated to a unique musical programme that seamlessly blended operatic masterpieces performed by Joseph Calleja with contemporary works by Marco Mengoni, creating an emotive and refined artistic experience.

The concert was organised by Greatt, Visit Malta, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, and the Bank of Valletta, reflecting a strong public-private partnership aimed at enhancing Malta’s cultural calendar and enriching the tourism product.
