MTV today announced that award-winning producer and DJ Afrojack will perform at Isle of MTV Malta 2026, returning to the festival’s iconic stage. Afrojack will appear on the lineup alongside headliner and global superstar Katy Perry at Il-Fosos Square on Wednesday 22 July. Tickets for Isle of MTV Malta and Malta Music Week are available now at isleofmtv.com.
Held in the heart of Valletta each summer, and delivered in partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority, Isle of MTV Malta has become one of the island’s biggest live music spectacles, welcoming tens of thousands of fans from across Malta and overseas for world-class live performances.
Afrojack will carry on after the show, performing a special “KAPUCHON” set at the Official Isle of MTV After Party at Gianpula Village.
Afrojack is one of dance music’s most in-demand artists. Since his breakthrough with the multi-platinum single “Take Over Control,” he has lent his production skills to some of the biggest names in music and continues to headline clubs and festivals worldwide. Afrojack’s most recent track “Awake Tonight” - a new collaboration with Sia and David Guetta, following the trio’s first collaboration 15 years ago on the dance anthem “Titanium” - is filling dancefloors all over the world.
Local Star AIDAN to Join Headliner Katy Perry and Afrojack
Maltese pop star AIDAN will also perform at this summer’s Isle of MTV Malta. Malta’s recordholder for the most national No. 1 singles, AIDAN recently released his Elvis-inspired glam-poprock album, “Cowboys Don’t Cry”, and represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
AIDAN said: “Performing on the Isle of MTV Malta stage for a home crowd is something truly special. I can’t wait for us to share this night of music together.”

Isle of MTV Malta will be broadcast across MTV’s international networks in September 2026.
