In 2017, the Malta Tourism Authority introduced a fresh and dynamic brand identity for both the organisation and the destination. This rebranding followed an international call for proposals and a rigorous selection process aimed at finding the most compelling and representative visual identity for Malta as a world-class travel destination.
After extensive evaluation, the winning design was created by the Dublin-based agency OLIVER, whose concept successfully captured the essence of Malta’s vibrant culture, rich heritage and modern appeal. The new branding reflects Malta’s unique character, blending its historical depth with contemporary energy, making it instantly recognizable across various platforms and markets.
To ensure consistency in the use of the new logo and branding elements, detailed guidelines have been outlined in the official Brand Guidelines. This manual provides instructions on proper logo placement, color schemes, typography, and other essential branding aspects to maintain a cohesive and professional representation of Malta across all promotional materials.
